We are currently partnering with a leading structural steel contractor and are seeking experienced, safety-focused, and motivated professionals to join the site crew immediately. Leading Hand (Construction) You will be the driving force on-site, managing the day-to-day erection of structural steel, coordinating the crew, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreperson in structural steel erection. Strong leadership, communication, and blueprint/drawing reading skills. High-risk work licenses (Dogging/Rigging, EWP, Crane tickets highly regarded). 2. Rigger (Intermediate / Advanced) You will be responsible for safely slinging, moving, and securing structural steel elements, working closely with crane operators and the erection team. Requirements: Valid Australian High-Risk Work License (RI or RA). Solid experience in steel erection and working at heights. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-performing team. 3. Trade Assistant (TA) You will provide crucial ground and height support to Riggers and Boilermakers, ensuring tools, materials, and bolted connections are handled efficiently. Requirements: Previous experience on commercial construction sites (ideally assisting with steel or heavy fabrication). Proficient with power tools, grinders, and material handling. Physically fit and eager to learn the trade. Mandatory Requirements (All Roles) To be considered for these roles, you must possess: Full Australian Working Rights: Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a visa with full, unrestricted work rights. Please note: Working Holiday Visas (WHV) and visa sponsorships are NOT accepted for these roles. Recent, proven experience within the Australian building and construction industry. A valid Construction Induction Card (White Card) . Current Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain). A strong, non-negotiable commitment to OH&S and site safety culture . A reliable vehicle and a valid Australian driver's license. Ability to pass regular, mandatory drug and alcohol screenings.
